Teddy,

If I understand you correctly your horse didn't have a "whiplash"
effect? That was what I was wondering. I thought that maybe he would hit
his butt first, as you described, but then have the potential of hitting his
head next? Maybe it just depends on how hard you have to slam on the
brakes? Or, do you think that just due to the horse's weight and his
"putting on the brakes" power (no pun intended) he has regained enough
balance not to hit his head? Kim
