About 100 years ago, (okay several, around 16) I started out riding as
a junior. And the other junior I used to try and beat, is still riding
now as a senior. In fact I can think of several riders in the Southeast
region who are still riding after becoming seniors. I would have loved
to get a discount, let alone ride free!
Granted, most of our new members started out as adults, but we still
need to encourage our junior riders if at all possible. You haven't
lived until you sponser a junior rider through their first 100 mile
ride. They keep you going! You won't dare whine.
