a ride, to find out that you can't do it for whatever reason. For a ride to

keep a entry fee when the rider can't ride, or a horse can't start, doesn't
seem right.

Changing your "mind", is something else.

I agree with Connie, we always give refunds at our Rides. The problem we have
from time to time is Bad Checks! If AERC would cancel the points and mileage
from the person/persons that pass bad checks, maybe that would help.
