The more I read on the list the more I'm convinced this (long distance
riding) is an incestuous bunch of people! Roger described Scott Denman &
Debbie Lashly's Biltmore 50 in a previous posting. The irony is that I met
Scott & Debbie on a conditioning ride along the Foothills Parkway (outside
the Smokies) the Saturday before Biltmore. We stopped & gabbed for 15-20
minutes. Next thing I know I see them on the Biltmore completion list &
now Roger is describing how Scott & Debbie got started in distance riding.

Last year I met Kathy Seibolt at the East Fork CTR after exchanging email
with her. Two weeks ago I found out she's the former owner of my
conditioning partner's horse! This is a little too much for me!

Where we the next visit to the twilight zone pop up?
