Human Water/Electrolytes

Not really a question that people asked but...

It seems that some have complained about running out of human water on
recent rides with the usual result of not feeling well. I was really
grateful this weekend that I had my camelback this weekend when it was over
100 F. It holds 70 ozs, doesn't bounce (much) and allows me to drink a lot
very easily. The one that I have has pockets on the outside to put items
that would be useful if the horse and I became separated - not to mention
that I would have water. I saw the camelback mule (holds 90 oz) on sale in
the Campmor catalog for $44.95. They also had the truck tents that someone
a while back was asking about.

Has anyone tried the electrolyte pills that Sportack carries? What do you
use if the thought of drinking gatorade makes you queasy? I was mixing some
plain horse electrolyte with apple juice for me after really hot rides but
it is pretty hard to get down sometimes.
