Gene Ovnicek also has his own shoes, which he sells, the Natural Balance
Shoe. It is a wide web, rolled toe (and squared) and is designed to
minimize sole pressure. I really like the shoes but as of now they only
come in 3 sizes and they don't fit my horse. Gene said he was going to
manufacture more sizes and as soon as he does they will be on my horse.

On the subject of hoofs, when I bought my horse she had a slight club
foot. Now a few months later, with 3 sets of shoes (her first shoes
ever) the hoof is totally normal. Her gait changed, due to Chiropractor
work, and she thus has different pressure areas on her front hoofs. Good
things do happen!!
