Subject: endurance ride in Northern Calif.
Hi, great web site. Not sure if you or anyone is interested but I live in
the middle of the Trinity National Forest. This is the 6th biggest county
in Calif. but has only 10% private land. I feel
there is an opportunity here to put on an endurance ride if you're
interested. We have lots of logging roads in the mountains that would love
horses hooves caressing them. We also have one of the last wild and scenic
rivers in Calif. the Trinity River, surrounded by the Trinity Alps and
Trinity Lake. I live in a small town and my job at the moment is to try
and breath life back into this area after the Northwest Initiative (Logging
stopped on Federal Land). We're now pushing tourism as a partial solution
to our economic problems. I'm also pushing technology so our kids will get
to stay here eventually. Anyway, we have lots of beautiful campgrounds, RV
site, restaurants here and there, and lots of white water rafting, salmon
fishing, hiking, biking and generally fantastic river swimming. If you know
anyone interested, by themselves or a group let me know. Thanks alot, have
a great life! KC bbcdg@snowcrest.net
