On saddles, I have been riding a Stubben All-Purpose for the past 20 yrs
on a thoroughbred and several arabs with no problems whatsoever. I can't
imagine riding in anything else. I am about ready to replace pad and
girth however.

What are the thoughts out there on saddle pads - wool felt, wool fleece,
synthetic fleece, equigel, ???.

And on girths, leather contour, string (mohair, poly), and girth covers.
