Hi,
Just like the gal in Gilroy said about her friend, I had a similar
experience
about 6 weeks ago. I was alone (w/my good mare) at a ride, and was injured.
I was taken to the Emergency room, examined, given pain pills (thankfully),
but the very nice people - - mainly the male nurse NOT the doctor, made sure
a cab came for me and that the driver understood that I needed someone to
act as my legs. This cab driver went to the drugstore for me, got my presc.
filled, and got me back to the ride where Brenda Jeoffroy and her husband
Raymond (thank God for these guys) baby sat, fed, coddled, etc. me and my
horse and made sure I got home safe.
No. 1 - I now always ride w/a cellphone when alone.
No.2 - If you have friends like this - Be VERY nice to them.
