It is quite aggravating that trailers are so poorly made. The paint job on
my steel trailer started rusting almost immediately after I bought it new.
Last year I got an expensive ($900) paint job, supposedly with new primer
and premium paint, and already the rust is beginning in some areas. Well
put! Why can't a trailer be more like a car?? Maybe we should demand
government intervention, as the marketplace hasn't responded. Maybe we
should simply demand, cajole, complain, and otherwise hold the trailer
manufacturers accountable for their shoddy products.
