Early Sunday morning 59 riders took off for the Great Divide Challenge from
the ride base at Gombungee on the Darling Downs about 100 miles west of
Brisbane, Queensland Australia. The distance was 120Km over four legs, with
favourable riding conditions with a few misty showers and not too many
hills. 46 riders completed with the front runners doing excellent times
and using this ride for a Quilty (early June) warm up.19 riders out of 25
completed a training ride over 55 Km.
