I've received quite a bit of mail to this effect (see comment below)
Please folks, if you are irritated or affronted by comments made
on the list, DO NOT reply in public, hash it out privately.
Just let it ride.
Most of us just pass over these comments - what we're really looking
for are the posts with content. This is one of the best horse-related
lists on the net as far as the quality of the posts - please take
pride in this fact and help keep it that way.

We may come back on the list in the future - we feel that much of the
information is wonderful. But there are just too many insignificant posts
and the biggest problem is being assaulted by the rude and hurtful comments
made to one another. I have better things to do with my time.
