I too have children that have participated in endurance rides. I believe
that the children have to make their own choices concerning horses,
endurance riding and at what level they wish to play. My kids aren't crazy
about horses like I am. So it's my expensive hobbie and if one of them
expresses a desire to do something I help guide them in their own quest. I
did get a kick out of riding with them during the rides. My baby loves the
3 year old we are currently training, Who knows? The future is going to be
interesting. Jane
