My gelding has trouble with loin rubs as well. A friend suggested I try
cutting a good quality sheepskin to the size of my saddle pad and
putting the wool next to the loin. I had my doubts, but it has worked
great! A very cheap, non allergenic fix for a tough problem.:) The
alternative was to get another saddle:(.
