"Little QH feet" aren't good for QH's either. It's strictly a show thing.
Our endurance QH's wear #2 shoes. Candy's feet grow at a straighter angle,
Racer's have more flare. That is a natural difference for them. But they
are both size 2.
Also, to Becky, I learned the hard way that a week or two off after hard
conditioning definately sets a horse up for a tie up. The cold & wet
conditions make it worse, but it's the time off that sets them up
metabolically for problems.
We never got our '96 AERC directory till Fall, so I didn't shell out the
$10 for "97. Doesn't sound like I missed anything!
