AB1540 has been introduced and is going before the Assembly Judiciary
Committee. This bill would limit liability in equine related activites.
(this would really help get more trails open to endurance rides, especially
on private property!)

"This bill would provide that an equine activity sponsor, an equine
professional, or any other person shall not be liable for an injury to, or
death of a participant or equine resulting from the inherent risk of equine
activities. The bill would define variuos terms for these purposes...."

Endurance is specifically included in this bill as well.

So we need to write letters, call, fax, whatever it takes to express our
support (or not?).
