Bambi,
Many folks have reported good results using an Equalizer pad with both the high
density foam and felt insert sandwiched inside (each a half inch thick). Joyce
Harman, DVM, did extensive infrared computer (Saddletech) testing of the Sports
Saddle with a variety of pads and found the channeled felt did the best job of
ensuring that the saddle does not impinge on the spine. Horseworks carries all
of the above combinations and can help you determine which is best for you.

I know that both Skito and Toklat make pads specifically for the SS.
