The best of both worlds is an equine vet who specializes in dentistry- which
is what I am lucky to have access to! In my experience, vets don't really want
to do more than routine floating, and nonvet dentists go overboard, wanting to
grind down all these teeth and make a perfect bite in horses who only have so
much tooth in the head- it goes away fast enough by itself without grinding it
down with a power tool!-Amy
