<< uh no Ti, you lost me here. Please forgive my ignorance but could you
translate this to A form of ? ... oats, hay, carrots or some such?
Would this be like feeding sweet feed (all-in-one) with molasses?
thanks! Kimberly >>
Kimberly,
There are two parts to a modern carbohydrate preparation: the carbohydrate
and the driver. I said "a form of chromium, picolinate or polynicotinate".
That's the driver. It causes the sugar in the blood to move more quickly into
the muscle cell.
Otherwise, you're dealing with carbohydrates. Carbohydrates are starches and
sugars, with sugars being faster acting and more quickly digested than
starches like corn and oats. The loaders we're using and testing have very
specific molecular weights--the lower molecular weights are fast-acting while
the higher are slower acting. Sugar is a relatively low molecular weight carb
when compared to oats.
