New NJ Endurance Ride

Here's what happened at the NJTRA BOD meeting last Thursday to bring you
all up to date. It was decided to present it at the next general
membership meeting, 4/5, and let the membership decide whether they
wanted to do it or not. Sandy Terp is going to go and present it on my
behalf because I have a ride in PA that weekend. I told her I would
send her all the e-mails I have received to take to the meeting to show
that we have a lot of support from potential riders. So, any and all
e-mails before that will just provide more ammunition.

I will let you all know that I am going to put this ride on, with or
without NJTRA. I felt that they should be involved, but if they don't
want to, too bad. The ride is going to be put on in memory of my
gallant little Mustang mare, Twinkles, who I lost in a fire the end of
1993. The ride name will be the Mustang Memorial, and after expenses,
if NJTRA makes me do it myself, I am going to donate the proceeds to
help the Mustangs, be it a sanctuary, or an organization.

Watch Ridecamp and I'll let you know what's happening. And my personal
thanks to everyone who had e-mailed me with encouraging words of
support. I WILL make this happen!
