As previously posted horses entering Canada could be required to post a
security deposit before entering for a ride if the owners do not have a
letter of recognition from the event organizer. I manage the Great Northern
Connection, a three day endurance event held on June 28,28,30/97 just north
of the American border in Manitoba I have such a letter and will gladly
mail it to anyone interested in attending our event. I will be mailing a
copy to all former entrants with their poster and entry forms but if you are
new to the ride please contact me well in advance of the event. For those of
you who haven't attended we have received rave reviews from everyone
attending in the past. We have wonderful trails, all in wilderness with no
roads, gates or fences. Come give it a try.
