I should have mentioned that Canadian ride organizers may get a letter of
recognition for their event from a Revenue Canada Regional Conventions
Coordinator. No deposit will be required for horses imported for
competition in that event, provided each importer and/or broker has a letter
of recognition. We'll apply for letters for each of our OCTRA events. Any
US riders planning on coming to Ontario should contact the appropriate ride
managers well in advance so that they may get a letter of recognition before
entering Canada.
