Was it you who wanted to know the difference in a CC with dropped rigging and
an F?
Sorry...I'm on my way to work and I accidentally erased my ridecamp messages
from last night.
I am not a saddle fitter for Sharon Saare. Teddy Lancaster is, and she is in
ridecamp. So she could go more into detail on dropped rigging.
I have had alot of back problems (i.e.) ....my fault because I was choosing
the wrong horse(conformationally) for endurance. So I have learned alot by my
mistakes, and having Sharon as a neighbor and friend.
Her saddles go as follows.. A B C CC(F; same as CC but for a very
level back) CC-G D E .
I believe the dropped rigging is something fairly new, as she and I spoke
about it last spring, when I had a very big Polish Arab I was fitting who was
a D size tree and also wide across the middle. So...it was my understanding
that the dropped rigging would be more comfortable for him.
But, Sharon is out of town for a few days, and I will ask her
specifically(sp?)
that question when she gets back.
I don't think if you are one tree size(using her saddles) away from the ideal
for your horse that it would matter that much. Sharon and I have discussed
this.
