BUT....my next horse will be raised correctly by one of you ethical
breeders, will be handled from birth, have records of all maintenance
and I will pay more money for it.
It was a great experience training Mystery (and it continues, always,
of course) but VERY expensive emotionally and materially in the long
run. When I think of the risks I took I was pretty stupid. I do enjoy
starting and helping to start young horses now when I get a chance but
for myself, I wouldn't do it again.
BTW, thank you all for the stirrups advise...now I just have to decide
WHICH one and WHAT color!!!!!
