Jude,

Maybe the prices are so high because some breeders think that their stallions
semen is worth so much. (....and we probably all agree that some stallions
should be cut in the first place and not allowed to propagate bad traits).

That then causes the overall price of breeding, raising and training to go up
in total. Sooo, why are stud fees so high? Is it left over from the arab
hey days of the 70's?
