Here here, Joe Long. Couldn't agree with you more. We lost a first
time ride last year in Gardnerville, Nv , never to be put on again by
people who worked so very hard to put on a great ride. Yes some things
did go wrong but there are those who take winning soooo seriously and
put placing above courtesy and sportsmanship and carried on so bad
because their group got lost and lost time to backtrack (which would not
have effected their placing anyway) that the ride which was scheduled
for this year will never be put on again.

I understand the frustrations of riders when things go wrong but we most
also understand, it isn't easy to put on a ride and if managers become
so fearful of reprisals then we will lose all our rides.
Here goes, do I dare say this??????? I have to. Think how it would be
if money was involved???
