Our point was not that top dollar was deserved or demanded, but that the
insulting, meat-market prices were incredibly unnjustified, as unjustified in
ouropinion as $15,000 for an "ANYTHING" prospect, or just about nay horse in
our book. No, we are talking about themeat prices for excellent horses. I
consider $3-5000 a fair price for a competent, well-bred horse. Our sales
reflect that opinion.
