The tradeshow was almost exactly like last year though it seemed to me that
there were fewer vendors there this year.
I attended 3 lectures:
1) discussion of massage technigues for horses. When to do it, how to do it,
why to do it and most importantly when not to do it.
2) discussion on lameness, mostly centered on bone scans, scinigraphy, and
rehabilitation from bone injuries.
3) discussion on bitting practices, mostly focused on dental problems,
causes and solutions and some on actual types of bits to use, again each
horse is different and a lot of the decision is up to rider option.
I also attended the ride managers meeting so if any of you out there want
details on that email me privately.
