My only advice is, whatever pad you get, make SURE that it is wrinkle
free when you put it on. Since your weight is evenly distributed over
the whole surface of the saddle (not just the tree), a wrinkle can quicly
give your horse a bad sore. I know, I did it with my Sports Saddle and a
Cloud Nine Pad. I had shifted the saddle and blanket, and the blanket
got a wrinkle, unbeknownst to me, right over my horse's spine. It was a
short ride of only an hour or so, and the next day he had a hole in his
back!
