We have found on long hauls it is not the trailering so much as the MOVING.
Just stopping for a period of time is greatly beneficial. We have been in
two situations where they had to spend all night stopped in the
trailer..and no worse for it!
(you might want to put hay on the bottom so they will pee in the trailer)
