What's the gereral opinion out here about conditioning in sand? I mean
deep sand washes (loose sand) not the hard-packed beach type. Some
riders I know do lots (6-8 miles at a time) of slow trotting in the
washes for conditioning...I have always been concerned about straining
something.
I know when I get off and walk through the wash, it's about 4-5" deep,
and hard work. How much of this training is acceptable? Let's hear
some specifics......
