One of these days I will do a paper on my first 100 miler on a first time
mare. ..it was the OD100..
I am back ridining that mare this year..she is 15 Carol gave her back to
me..she is the only one who calls to me when I come out of the house to the
barn..even my older mare is not as close to me..we have done 50s, 3-day 100
but no 100 miler..only the little mare and I have done the distance..we are
bonded..

.. I can still 'see' us comming down off the increadable SHERMANS GAP (80m)
to the river at Macoys.. you never forget the first one...
