I've ridden with dragriders often on rides simply because the pony goes
slower. They have been a great source of fun, helpful information,
encouragement and an occasional nip of something tasty. I was disappointed
that my stint as a drag was such a drag. On Meggies and my first ride ever
the drag rider was the one who came upon us around the bend out of sight of
the start. I had bailed terrified at the rate of speed we had been
traveling. This fabulous person stayed with me as I walked along and
finally encouraged me to get back on the beast. She kept me going and
stayed with me the whole way. If it hadn't been for her I would have snuck
back into camp after the start. Jane
