TO ALL RIDECAMPERS WHO HAVEN'T RESPONDED: PLEASE TAKE 5 MINUTES AND DO SO!
TO ALL AERC MEMBERS:
The AERC Board of Directors is discussing the involvement of prize
money and high-value awards in our sport. I have requested that the topic
be put on the agenda at the Convention Board Meeting, and I am seeking
input from our membership. Please indicate your preference(s) among the
following choices by indicating the corresponding letter (s), and any
comments. Let me or your Director know, in writing/Email, of any other
comments you might have. Because I believe that all merchandise awards
have some corresponding cash value, I have chosen, at this time, to not
differentiate between the two.
A = I OBJECT to cash prizes and/or high-dollar (over $1,000) prizes for
ride awards.
B = I DO NOT OBJECT to cash prizes and/or high-dollar prizes for ride awards.
C = I would like to see a LIMIT on the amount of cash prizes/high-dollar awards.
D = I prefer NO MAXIMUM LIMIT on cash prizes/high-dollar awards.
E = I prefer that AERC create SEPARATE RIDER DIVISIONS:
"AMATEUR" (low cash prizes/awards limits) & "PROFESSIONAL" (no
maximum
limit).
