Of course, I cannot let this topic go by without mentioning that, in 1995,
the Region 14 CTR was won by two morgans. My morgan was Reserve and a
friend of mine was Grand on his morgan. We have several very competitive
morgans in this region (OH, IN, KY) and enjoy kicking arab butt on a
regular basis.

Don't give up just because your horse is different - you'll be surprised by
what your little horse will do for you. Also, check out the open
competition program sponsored by the AMHA - I wish I had known about it a
long time ago. Nice way to keep track of your miles and accomplishments on
your morgan.
