From the bottom of our hearts, we never really understood exactly what
that meant until we experienced the feeling. Kathy and I would like to thank
all of you from the bottom of our hearts. We have been blessed with this
process that we have been going through. It is a humble awakening of our
spirits, life, mental and physical well being. On those beautiful fall day
rides many times we have observed the wind blowing the leaves all about-now
we have been taught that life can pass you by just like those leaves
floating in that autumn breeze. Be very careful as life will slip away so
let all of us seize every hour so that we may enjoy and fulfill every day
that has been given to us. It's funny how we turn to doctors and hospitals
for fixes and repairs as we would take our cars into a garage to be
repaired, but have been amazed how the actual healing comes from within
ourselves and the support we get from our friends is such a powerful
medicine for that inner healing. Again I know we have been blessed when
people such as yourselves, some close friends, some we hardly know, some we
don't know at all, have called, sent flowers, come by, meals, benefit rides,
sales, donations, baby-sitting, both horses and kids, cards, house set,
prayers, the list goes on and on. There are no words we can use to express
what it has done for Kathy's healing or thanks we can give for such support.
We do know that the next time you sign up for a ride tou can all add M. D.
L. after your name.
Kathy and I have been involved in many projects and have had the chance
to enjoy that wonderful gift of giving-be it work parties on trails, ride
volunteers, convalescent homes, donations to victims of tragedy, meals,
clothes, yet we have always wondered how the recipients felt. Don't wonder
with us, just seize one of those hours for yourself and put a huge smile on
your face and feel good, pat yourself on the back for the gift you have
given us and our family and enjoy the day. We hope to see you on the trails
again and may God bless all of you. Thanks again from the bottoms of our hearts.
