I have heard of it being used with electrolytes with some horses that
will not eat well when being given substantial doses of electrolyte.
The get upset tummys I guess and the maalox settles things down. Roger

Out of curiousity..does anyone know of any reason that Maalox (or other
antacid) being detremental? OR, is this a good idea???
