Sun. the horse went into a stock trailer with no problems. After
which the idiots left him and went and had lunch. Over lunch this woman
decided she didn't want the horse because he was just too much for her to
handle (THANK GOD!). But, now the horse was loaded with no place to go.
They returned the horse home. The people who own the horse are military
and are being moved to Colorado and DO NOT want the horse.
HE IS FOR SALE, if he is not sold by the end of the month he will
go to a local auction barn and well you know where he is headed from there.
The man wants around $800 for him, or best offer. It is my guess that
someone could probably purchase him for much cheaper, maybe $500: they
need to get rid of him and have acknowledged to me that they realize they
aren't going to get very much for him.
This is what I know about him:
7 yr old. Bred in KY for the racetrack and from what I can piece
together it sounds like he was trained for the track but never raced.
He has not been ridden much, but his owner can ride him fine bareback and
with saddle. He is about 15 hands. He is registered and has papers, but
they were never transferred and are still with KY people who I have been
told can still be gotten a hold of. His owners have told me he is very
fast and seems to have been taught or just knows how to pace himself.
Obviously he needs an experienced rider/trainer who has the patience and
time to work with him.
If anyone is at all interested they can either e-mail me or call me:

He is located in Manhattan, KS
Also, please know that if I had had any idea the extent these
people went to to try to load him I would have intervened, but I honestly
thought they all knew better than to try the things they did. Both my
husband and I were horrified when we found out. I feel terrible I didn't
do more, but I hope maybe I can find a good home for this horse. I am
not financially able to do any more than try to find a good home for him.
Thank-you,
