Two weeks ago, I bought a pair of the new Miller's Heels Down model that
is completely different than past offerings. It has hiking boot style
triangular-shaped things for the laces to go through (sorry, don't know
the technical term for hole-substitutes), which allows for easy and
quick lacing. The upper is made of breathable black Cordura-like
material, with light brown leather around the toe, heel counter.

Wide enough in the footbed for me--can't wear my Ariats during
competition because the feet swell a little. Very comfortable from the
first day. Pricey for riding sneakers though at $74. They seem to hold
up to bathing the horse and have been comfortable in our recent week of
90 degree weather.

They're more comfortable in the ankle than my old On Course ones.
