>>>To all of you who have multi-day endurance rides under your belts I'm
looking to get some "tips, tricks and traps" from you guys!>>>
Assuming you are a female:
1) A good support bra
2) A & D ointment
3) Take electrolytes yourself
4) Eat and drink on the trail (granola bars, etc) to keep your energy up.
(This effects the horse.)
5) Electrolyte your horse at all vet checks
6) Keep a blanket/sheet and use over your horse if there is a breeze or
chilly weather
7) Blanket your horse at night. If your horse has to use energy to keep
warm this is using up energy he needs on the trail.
8) Clean your horse and tack at the end of each day.
9) For scratches or the prevention of scratches, use Dy's Liquid Bandage
10) Enjoy the ride!
