Saddles, etc

No, this isn't another SS commentary. I may be the only person in this =
situation, but I wanted to support what I feel is a good product. I too =
ordered a SS several months ago for a TB mare that my OF was soring =
pretty badly. In the too many months of waiting, she got sorer, I got =
impatient and I ended up going back to my 1st endurance horse with my =
OF. On the advice of a saddle maker friend, I had started leaning my OF, =
face down, on my saddle rack. What this did was widen up the front =
panels and loosen up the shoulder area for my gelding. Lo and behold, =
the "terrible OF" was working great. He always has A's for his back =
scores. My brand new SS is sitting pretty on a saddle rack waiting for =
my TB to heal up so that it can be more useful. No, the OF isn't for =
everyone, but it does work well for some. You just may need to try a =
little something different to get them to work for you. I have used the =
SS a couple of times and enjoy it, but having had too much time off from =
saddle problems, I'm sticking with what I know works for this horse. By =
the way, the girth Genie recommended, but hadn't tried, I have. It's the =
woolfelt cinch from Running Bear and it's great. It does, for me, help =
keep the SS on. I got it in red, which is really bright and I was =
worried that it would run, but after dozens of washings. it's still as =
bright as ever.=20
Hope this helps someone.
