I and my wife Linda know them well as the three of them excluding me are
keen endurance riders here in Western Australia. Jane and Nobert have just
returned from a trip to the US and Jane has written a fascinating account of
their ride at the Shawnee Heritage Ride in Illinois organised I take it by
you GenieSS, in the latest WA State endurance rider's newsletter.
Jane and Nobert send their thanks to everybody in the US who made their trip
so enjoyable. They have been using thier new saddles at the rides according
to my wife who was at the last endurance ride here.
On a personal note I would like to thanks everybody you replied to my post
about, using MSM Chondriotin Sulphate and the other part of it which was
asking about Mule Saddles. To update everybody the horse are giving
Chondroitin Sulphate is going great and is now a qualified endurance horse,
having sucessfully completed three 80 km (50 mile) endurance rides.
I have a couple of other queries. The first we have a pure bred arab mare
who is a qualified endurance horse but has a real problem tying up when she
is fit and then comes into season. Has anybody had this happen, and knows
of a cure. The other query is over electrolyte mixes we use the Ridgway
formula of two parts of table salt to two parts of lite salt and one part of
dolomite. the is works pretty well but we are looking to improve on this.
Has anybody got any suggestions?
Thanks in anticipation, Ed and Linda Blanchard
