Rick Hass with World Wide TV News contacted me in Kansas City to find out if a
local affiliate was covering the Race. If not they were going to arrange(at
the last minute) to get coverage arranged. I put them in touch with the OC
and that was the last I heard until "The Equine Endurance World Championships
in the Flint Hills of Kansas" showed up as a Sports Channel listing in our
Lehigh Valley,PA TV Guide. It DID NOT air at the time shown 2pm Fri, 11/8. I
have a call into our local sports channel office (tracked number thru our
cable company) to find out what happened and if it will be aired. Check your
TV Guide then confirm the air time with that cable channel. They are not
bound to the TV Guide listing. I spoke with Miki, at AERC. She said World
Wide TV News did request all the background information she could send on
endurance which
she did ($25.00 postage!). If someone is successful in taping the program,
PLEASE send a copy to AERC for the library and distribution to Jerry Gillespie
DVM.
