Good. I find when somebody starts using words like "allegations" and
phrases like "How dare someone try to mar the image of a...reputable
company" ("try to mar": almost exactly the definition of libel) it can be
the first assertion of an intent--or threat--to build a legal action
claiming damages unless the other side backs down. I am glad to hear
that this was not what was on your mind. (And I mean that sincerely,
not facetiously.)
Maybe California will turn the other cheek, too. ;-)
