Au contraire! I make polarfleece coolers and they do keep my horses warm
even when wet. It is a fine substitute for wool and actually more expensive,
but can be laundered whereas wool doesn't wash up as well. I do like wool
because it's a natural fabric, but as a professional seamstress for over 20
years, I know fabrics and polarfleece is in fact a very good substitute.
