The best solultion I found is hemoepathic.. CALENDULA sp.. get a tincture mix
with water per directions..3:1 , swab over the rot, try to remove the scabs
if you can..if not let it go, treat every day a few times per day.. this
worked for me..
you can make your own tincture.. get a bunch of GOLD marigold flowers, put in
jar cover with alcohol, heat slighlty then cover let sit a few days, this is
a 'mother batch'.... make a dose mix by mixing 2 oz with a pt of water..swab
on horse..
alternative, get an ointment of CALEN and smear it all over the 'rot'
Tea Tree oil works well also..costly mix drops with water and wash area...
try a weak mix then add more if no results.
get a book on hemoepathic medicine.. there are other remidies for skin
problems
rhus-tox, and others for fungus infections
