My first horse in 10 years,Majestic Jihad, is in n. az. at the shippers
ranch overnight and will be pulling in TOMMOROW!!!!!!!!!!!! We got the
fencing done yesterday and it looks pretty good for first time fencers! I
got all his stuff ready and now I have to wait!!! Hey, thank God the
weather broke, and I was worrying about long hair. HA! Now I'm freezing my
behind off. The shipper told me today he's gorgeous, very muscular, loaded
easily and was well behaved the whole trip from Idaho. He wants to keep him
for himself! NO WAY! I can't wait! He is a 14.3 registered Arabian. 3/4
egyptian and 1/4 spanish.
I'm sure you'll all be hearing from me with training questions since he has
only spent 30 days in training last year and he's 5 years old. Now I have
to find one more well broke horse for my 14 year old daughter:} This will be
such a great, fun challenge. I've been refreshing my memory with training
videos and feel confident about training him. If I hit a glich I'll call
the trainer I have picked. The trainer is going to start with us when we
are at the green broke stage anyway. I figure on buying Jessica's horse
about the time Jihad is hopefully ready to hit the trail.
