It is a wonderful story. When I first read it, I thought it was a real
ride and I was in awe! The truth is: just about anything you can think of
can and will go wrong! Seriously, the best way to make your rides
as close to fantasy as you can is to organize, organize, organize. You
can't be prepared enough. I learn from every ride. After a while, it
becomes second nature. You'll see that in the seasoned competitors. Every
ride is what you make it. If you have too many expectations, you will set
yourself up for disappointment. Be realistic, prepared, and always maintain
a sense of humor. Understand too that in this sport there will always be
someone to lend a helping hand. These are the greatest people!

It's unfair to expect too much from ride management. I'm grateful for them
putting on the rides at all. It's a tremendous amount of work and very little
thanks. The less burden we as riders can put on management the more success-
ful your experience will be - there again, expectations. Be responsible for
your own comfort and you'll have a great time.
