Lost Wagon Ride cancelled

To anyone considering the 5-day Lost Wagon Ride:

I received a letter from Heidi Smith yesterday saying that due to
unforeseen circumstances, the ride had to be cancelled. The ride was
to have started on October 21 in Burns, Oregon and ended October 25 in
Alfalfa, Oregon. Heidi says she hopes it will be back on in 1997.
