At a recent ride, a three day 100 in the East, we were all agonizing
over the mud we knew we would be encountering. I remember reading
somewhere on this post about putting easy boots on over the shoes for
traction. Several others who also read this post remember it too. I
seriously thought about it, but decided not to try something new at a
ride, especially a 100 miler. But I would very much like to hear if
any of you have done this in slippery conditions and does it help?
